Welcome to the Williams Bay Historical Society
The purpose of the Williams Bay Historical Society is to assist in the preservation and exhibition of items of historical interest that are within the boundaries of Williams Bay, and the immediate surrounding area. The Society will seek to provide the public with educational opportunities to learn about our unique local history. The Society will also seek to organize and assist in the commemoration of significant dates and events in village history.

Pesches: Heirloom Plant Workshop
The Williams Bay Historical Society is announcing the second educational session in the Spring
Speaker Series titled “Heirloom Garden Talk”. The event will be held in the Community Room of the Barrett Memorial Library on Saturday, April 28th, 2018 at I:00 PM.
Did you know that the “Hollyhock” is the official flower of Williams Bay? The Garden Club members of the 1930’s held a yearly contest to see who could grow the tallest and most beautiful
hollyhocks in their yards during that time and awards were given.
Brenda Williams, Master Gardener from Pesche’s will give a talk on heirloom flowers and other plantings in the Geneva Lake area, during the garden talk event. Members and guests are invited. Raffles nd refreshments will be served.
Also, a Village Wide Open House will be held at the Lions’ Field House on Saturday, April 21, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM where you can meet historical society members and share your families’ history and become a member.
